古天乐和曾志伟提出的拍摄这部“”新豪门夜宴”获得香港多家电影公司支持，剧本已基本完成。古天乐、曾志伟等牵头人也开始联系演员出演。任达华、张智霖在接受采访时表示，会全力支持，即使演路人甲也不介意。
