南北狮王

　　Kyohei Aizawa, an assassin for a covert non-governmental espionage group in Japan called "SEEK", is grieving over the loss of his girlfriend from a tragic plane accident. The leader of "SEEK",Ryo Mikumo, contacts him for an emergency mission; save a fellow agent, recover a new highly explosive liquid called "RDX@", stop a ruthless Yakuza leader, Sojiro Kotsuki, and his gang before they take over Japan. Although the Ninjas were thought to have disappeared... the new breed of assassins live on helping to protect Japan and all that is right; the Ninjas are coming soon.

　　在胡金铨的年表中，《忠烈图》似乎恰成分水岭，此后他对影片中武打场面的经营渐渐递减，开始强调更多形而上的思维。本片描述明朝一群忠义侠士，抵御倭寇入侵的故事，最精彩处在于胡导大量以「棋盘」布阵的创意，藉以比喻敌我双方的对峙。除了徐枫、白鹰等班底，片中还能看到洪金宝、元彪、元华这些后来的武打明星的年轻模样。

某市发生一起奇怪的交通肇事逃逸案，刑警队长王金刚在查案时，发现该案件谜团重重，通过复杂线索，又牵扯出恶势力偷盗国家原油案件，发现幕后黑手郑氏兄弟。在查找证据和追捕的过程中，正邪之间展开了一场生死对决。
